Vallen published African American as a special edition Giclée print to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Twenty percent of all funds raised from the sale of this print will go directly to the Katrina Artists Trust (KAT.)

Printed in rich saturated colors on high quality fine art paper using archival inks, the lavishly detailed artwork measures 11" x 14" inches. African American is based on the artist's original 2004 oil on wood painting of the same name (now in a private collection.) Each print is suitable for framing and bears Vallen's signature.
