Artist's statement:

"Hundreds of copies of my bilingual poster were freely distributed to thousands of protesters gathered at the US/Mexico border on Columbus Day, 1992.

I took the above photo of a group of young women carrying the posters right up to the international check point. My posters were mounted on cardboard to heighten their visual effectiveness."
