A Jewish Portrait Gallery

Beginning this month the A Shenere Velt Gallery of the Los Angeles Workmen’s Circle/Arbeter Ring presents, A Jewish Portrait Gallery, a group show on the subject of Jewish identity. The exhibit will showcase contemporary Jewish art in various media and styles from the abstract to the realistic. For those of you in the LA area, the exhibit opens with an Artist’s Reception on Saturday, January 8th, from 7-9 pm. The show runs until March 4th, 2005. Working artists in Southern California should become familiar with the gallery, one of LA’s truly progressive art venues. My own More Than A Witness solo show was held there last year.
