Busy In The Studio

The Studio
[ Early one morning in the studio, a day's work begins. ]

I started painting several new images this past July, but with my mind flooded with ideas, I’ve found myself working on an ever increasing number of canvases. There’s little doubt that I’ve hit a productive period. There’s a saying in Latin, Inter arma silent Musae (The muses are silent amongst war). While that might be true for most, I’m driven to create during times of chaos - and goodness knows we are living through despairing times. Since I’ve been spending more time at the easel, naturally I’ve been writing less, but I have several interesting essays coming up, so stay tuned. Meanwhile - I must get back to the easel.
